Thank you for your interest in the Learning Hive. We are super exited to work with you. Many families come to Learning Hive after exhausting traditional schooling options. Whether your child is homeschooled, autistic, ADHD, dyslexic or simply struggling academically, our admissions process helps determine if our supportive, self-paced learning model is the right fit.

The process

Lets Chat
Send an enquiry, letting us know a little bit about your need. It is important to know that we cater to young people who have a history of school struggle due to learning differences. Unfortunately, we are not able to accommodate young people who have serious behavioural difficulties, not linked to learning differences,

Submit application
We will provide you with an application form, which you need to complete comprehensively. This will include information such as past school reports, medical reports as well as a detailed history of the young person’s academic history. Children with an intellectual impairment cannot be considered for placement as the curricula offered will not meet the needs of the young person.

Meet and greet
Once we have determined whether your child will be a good fit, we will set a time to meet with you, and your child. During this time, you can also get a sense of how we work, and whether you feel that we will be able to meet your expectations.

Secure a spot
If we are all feeling comfortable, you will pay your deposit, and secure your spot. Assessments to support our understanding of your child’s unique needs, will then be done, before officially starting with us. These assessments will be for our understanding, and to put in place concessions, but may not fully meet the requirements for exams purposes.
Required enrollment documents
The admission forms are a critical part of our process, as it provides us with the necessary information to better understand your child’s needs.
